Okay, so it's a little more than in progress as the final touches are being put on this dress. But I had to get a quick post out there about this design.
The process: It started with the selection of music. In this case, the music is Edward Scissorhands. Once the style of music was selected for the skater, we (me the parent and the coaches) discussed the fabric... One keyword lace... more specifically we wanted black lace. Going with the lace I knew the design had to be classic. Sleeve, open back, sweetheart, rushed belt, and loads of Swarovski.
As it came to life, I knew it was a hit. It was classy, dark, and perfect for the little skater.
Material: Strech Nylon in Silver and Black lace. and loads and loads of Chrystal Swarovski AB in 20ss (16 and 10ss not yet on the dress).
End Product:
We still have a couple of things to do here to call it the final product. We are missing the flower that goes on the rushed belt and loads of Swarovski in 20 ss on one sleeve and the hundreds of Swarovski in 16 and 10 ss not on yet. We are awaiting on our Swarovski to come in from our provider and then we will be able to finish this beautiful dress.
